CUSTOMER INFORMATION CENTRE

Sydney Metro – Customer Information Centre is built to meet Transport for NSW and Sydney Metro standards. The main features of this project are the 1/21 compliant accessible ramps and the metro graphics. This was a complete fit out including construction of new retail shop front, floor work including full reconstruction of shopfront floor to include compliant ramp entry, steel supporting beams and posts, glazing, partitions, ceiling, floor coverings, kitchen, accessible bathroom, auto doors, security, av, power, data and custom joinery. The Detailed project was completed in 8 weeks. Behind the scenes; the project timing was pushed out when a non-compliant fire rated ceiling was discovered, CIP had to demo the existing non-compliant ceiling and replace it with two layer fire rated ceiling for compliance.
